Too often our dreams remain just dreams. We push them into a drawer and try to forget them. It’s time to bring your big dream to life!

What Is Your Big Dream?

What is the biggest dream you have for yourself? Is it to travel the world? Is it to be the first person in your family to start her own business?  Is it to start a new program in your local community? Is it to make a difference in the lives of women in third-world countries? Do you dream of being a leader who innovates beneficial change?

Too often our dreams remain just dreams. We push our dreams off into a drawer and try to forget them. But some dreams just won’t let us forget them.

Recently we attended a conference that was attended by some 2000 people. It was inspiring to feel that synergy! People came to have the big conversation about being mindful, being heartful, and being connected.

We know from this and other experiences that going on a retreat, going away, really taking time to reorganize, regenerate and re-evaluate helps us tap into our creativity in such a tremendous and impactful way.

We’re creating a similar, but more intimate experience for you at Newave Leaders. We’re creating a place you can come to have the big conversation. We give you the opportunity to come and dream your biggest dream, your biggest goal.

So think about it right now. Do you have a dream you want to think out of the drawer?

On this video, Louise shares her biggest dream:

What is your big dream?

Highlights from Our 2018 Women’s Retreat in Mindo, Ecuador

Last September, we were lucky enough to be in Mindo Ecuador, for our first Women: Bring Forth the Leader Within retreat. We were privileged to work with a group of women from all over the world. It was so inspiring to talk with them about what it’s like to be women in today’s world and how we got to be where we were. We also had plenty of time for some fun. That’s Maria on the zip line!

As women, when we’re feeling safe and encouraged, we can really express from a place of our deeper and higher self. When we operate from this place, we can deepen our impact in the world, as mothers, as sisters, as friends, as colleagues and as leaders. This opportunity gives us a chance to exercise our leader power and deepen our impact.

Would you like a sneak peek into one of our Retreat activities?

We call it “DIAL.” It will give you an opportunity to dial in to what’s really going on and what your higher self is really asking you to do. Please listen to this video, as Maria explains how “DIAL” works:

As Newave Leaders, we do power different. Why not join us for our 2019 women’s retreat – Women: Bring Forth the Leader Within. For five fabulous days, you’ll have the opportunity to intentionally deliberate about and align your ideas with who your higher self is telling you to be. You’ll come back with a plan that allows you to lead as only you can lead!

Women are fierce leaders. Fierce women know themselves. They speak the truth and use their wisdom to inspire others and do great things.

Women Are Fierce Leaders Who Make a Difference!

“Our power as individuals is multiplied when we gather together as families, teams, and communities with common goals.” ~ Susan Scott

Are you fiercely passionate about your purpose in life, as a leader in your family, community, career, and the world? Do you want to make a difference? Then you’re in the right place!

As Newave Leaders, our mission is to help you become a leader who intentionally develops your authentic presence, core values, and skills. These are foundational for becoming a  high-performance leader in today’s world. With that in mind, we have coined an acronym – F.L.O.W. – to help you focus on key building blocks for bringing your leader forward. The first one is: F stands for Fierce.

Women are fierce leaders. Leadership today requires a level of fierceness. Being a leader involves a journey of recognizing your leader within, of testing your new leader self, of identifying new perspectives and questions that come from evolving, as a leader. Fierce women know themselves. They speak the truth and use their wisdom to inspire others and do great things. It’s not just about us leading ourselves; it’s about us leading others in the way forward in this new world.

What does your fierceness look like?

In this video Maria shares when she is most fierce. Please watch it a see if you can relate to what she says. You’ll also get a glimpse into Maria’s outstanding Tea and Scones Exercise!

We’d love to hear when are you fierce. Please visit Louise’s Facebook page or Maria’s Facebook page and share your thoughts. We’d love to hear what you have to say.

Bring Forth the Leader Within – The Newave Leaders Mission

As Newave Leaders, we (Louise Santiago and Maria Connolly) want to share our mission with you. We have a passion for educating, inspiring, and empowering women to intentionally develop their authentic presence, core values, attitudes and skills that are the foundation of high-performance leadership.

Our goal is to develop intentional leaders. A key to gaining greater clarity is to develop a greater understanding of your shape somatically. What do we mean by “your shape”?

View our short video below where we share how your shape is the totality of your experience: the stories you have about yourself, about other people, and about the world. And how your shape directly impacts whether or not you can step into the next phase of your life.

We approach leadership development in a new way. Would you like to catch this new wave of leadership? We invite you to join us for our upcoming retreat, Bring Forth the Leader Within. Within five fabulous days, you’ll know exactly how to bring your amazing ideas to life.

We all have unfulfilled dreams in a drawer. Life gets busy, years pass, but the longing remains. It’s time to let your dreams out and make them come alive!

Unfulfilled Dreams in a Drawer — Isn’t It Time to Let Them Out?

“The key to realizing a dream is to focus not on success but significance, and then even the small steps and little victories along your path will take on greater meaning.” ~ Oprah Winfrey

Do you have one of those junk drawers into which you throw things that you can’t bear to lose, yet probably won’t use ever again? While it doesn’t matter if you never see the rubber bands, paper clips and spare keys again, there is something vitally important you’ve been sneaking into that drawer over time, isn’t there? Yes, how many of your dreams are hidden away in there?

Your dreams are not junk. They don’t deserve to be thrown into a drawer, ignored, and finally discarded at the end of your life with a huge sigh of, “Oh well, I wish…but I guess it doesn’t matter.” Are you really okay with living with regrets like that?

We all have dreams in a drawer. Yes, we admit we’ve also done it. But we’re taking those dreams out, dusting them off, and breathing life into them. And it’s so empowering! What might some of your dreams be; why did you put them in a drawer; and how can you get them out and bring them to life? Perhaps you can relate to the following:

The Dream: Because you care deeply for others, you want to influence your family, friends, business associates, and community to achieve their collective best. You know that the more they excel, the better your world becomes. But this dream of influencing others requires that you “Define your leader within.”

The Problem: It seems impossible, because you just don’t have the time, energy, or focus to do the deep personal work necessary to bring your wisdom forth into the world.

The Solution: Make a commitment to yourself to get away and seriously explore and clarify what you want. Visit lovely surroundings where you can de-stress and, with pen and paper, think deeply without distraction.

The Dream: Because you’re brimming with creative ideas, you know you can make a real difference, if only people would pay attention, take you seriously and give you the respect you deserve. This dream takes a tremendous amount of Self-confidence.

The Problem: You get so keyed up and stressed when it’s time to communicate your ideas that you stutter, stammer, and stumble until you crumble in self-defeat.

The Solution: Learn to embody your dreams – create a shape in your body through somatic skills (greater mindfulness, NLP techniques, enhanced emotional intelligence, and state management skills) that give you the ability to carry out your dreams.

The Dream: You want to live larger, go places, see things, experience life to the full and collect the greatest personal experience possible.

The Problem: Trying something new can be fraught with fear, insecurity, and negative self-talk. How do you push past those powerful, internal forces?

The Solution: Join our retreat! You won’t have to worry about transportation from the airport, lodging, meals or workshop materials. Just concentrate on enjoying yourself, as we help you create an actionable vision for the life you desire.

The Dream: You want recognition and the ability to transform lives. So a part of you want to step up and become a leader – a part of you doesn’t.

The Problem: You’re afraid to be vulnerable and give voice to your trapped desires, and your daily choices aren’t always congruent with the purpose you feel. How do you re-connect with yourself so all of you parts are in harmony and the leader within can be brought forth?

The Solution: Find a safe environment and trusted confidants with whom you can practice, refine and clarify your unique place in the world. Our retreat will help you feel good in your own skin, as you match your internal sense of direction with the steps you take.

As women, we grow up in the shadow of others. We nurture and sacrifice so others can live the lives they’re meant to live. Yet we may fail to apply that same courtesy to ourselves.

You deserve to reconnect with your inner self in a way that accelerates your growth as a woman, as a leader, as a force for change. Please join our group of supportive, like-minded women as we attend our annual Women: Bring Forth the Leader Within Retreat June 20 to 26th in Grand Canary Island. We’re looking forward to meeting you in person!

Sign-up by March 31st and you’ll get two additional bonus coaching sessions with us! Your dreams have never been so close within reach!
